Seminar for Journalists in Religion and American Public Life
The Tocqueville Programs plans to conduct an annual seminar for journalists and others who address issues in social and political life in a public context. The aim of these seminars is to help deepen and nuance journalists’ understanding of religion in American Public life. The seminar will be two to five days and will be held alternately at the South Bend campus and in Washington, D.C. For more information contact mzuckert@nd.edu.
Distinguished Visiting Lecture Series in American Public Life
Each year the Tocqueville Program will invite three of four distinguished scholars (or journalists) to spend several days on campus and participate in lectures, seminars, and conversations with Notre Dame scholars and students from across campus who are interested in issues of religion in American public life. Notre Dame students and faculty, as well as the community at large, are invited to propose themes and topics for seminars and lectures. For more information contact mzuckert@nd.edu.
